ENGEO provided geotechnical and environmental engineering for a 9-acre, 320,000 square foot, new regional medical center. Site access required crossing a 30-foot-deep ravine. Seismic and geologic conditions required site-specific recommendations for design of an 80-foot bridge. Past on-site mining activities required mitigation based upon our environmental recommendations. Surface and subsurface seepage in the fractured rock material presented construction challenges. Our significant experience in the Mehrten geologic formation saved over $150,000 in earthwork costs.
