ENGEO Presents at UC Davis on How Technology is Changing our Industry

On November 7th, Uri Eliahu and Gilead Wurman joined the Geotechnical Graduate Student Society at UC Davis for a conversation on how technology is changing the geotechnical engineering industry. Addressing a room full of engaged and interactive graduate students, Uri and Gilead showed how advances in computing power, low-cost GPS, robotics, and machine learning, among other technologies, have revolutionized engineering practices from the office to the field.

ENGEO has been actively engaged with this group and faculty of UC Davis for many years, always supporting close collaboration and sharing of ideas between industry and academia. For more detail on how ENGEO is applying new technologies in the office and in the field, check out the November 2019 edition of the ENGEO View.
