Taylor Strack, PE, GE

Taylor has been a geotechnical engineer with ENGEO for more than 12 years providing support for ENGEO offices throughout California. He specializes in finite‑element modeling and advanced soil‑structure interaction analyses for shoring systems, tunnels, and complex above‑ and below‑grade structures, as well as sensitive utilities. He also brings extensive experience in traditional geotechnical engineering problems, including settlement evaluations, liquefaction assessments, retaining wall design, and pavement engineering. In recent years, Taylor has expanded his focus to coastal engineering, contributing to projects involving marinas, seawalls, revetments, and waterfront infrastructure.

“What I value most about ENGEO is the collaboration and the genuine care our teams have for one another and for the communities we serve. I’m energized by the challenge of solving complex technical problems and helping clients succeed, all while contributing to a culture built on support, curiosity, and continuous improvement.”

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys staying active through alternative sports such as disc golf, pickleball, and bodyboarding, and dives into hands‑on type projects any chance he gets. He strives to bring creativity, balance, and a sense of play into life and into engineering.
